Back to making cards after a long break. I must say I have been lacking inspiration and I’ve spent the days quite lazily for quite some time. But it feels great to be back to making cards now! 😀
And now, back to the topic – I have made this card to submit to the latest Runway Inspired Challenge.
I first made a yellow tone background towards the left side by first sponging Antique Linen distress ink and adding some Mustard Seed distress ink over Bubble stencil from Ranger.
I cut some strips of pattern paper in tones of black/grey and yellow in half an inch and quarter of an inch widths, and laid them across the background in random. After I was satisfied with the layout, I foam mounted them.
I die cut the sentiment Hello from WPlus9 and the flower Chloe Stem from Memory Box. I embossed them using some Black Sparkle embossing powder and adhered them directly on top. After this, I splattered some gold acrylic paint on top in a diagonal fashion acroxx the card. That finished my card!
As I said before, I am submitting this card to the Runway Inspired Challenge #69
Thanks for looking! 🙂
