Back again..this time to submit a card to Colour Me Challenge.
I started with a white card base, on top of which I stuck some brown wrapping paper to form a kraft base. On this, I stamped the Hero Arts Leafy Vines stamp using Hero Arts black dye ink.
I then cut out stripes of white cardstock using Spellbinders A2 Curved Matting Basics. I layered these on the card base, and once I decided on the layout, I colored them in red and green using Copic marker. I then moved the pieces to a scrap piece and stamped the same Leafy Vines with the same black dye ink. I then moved these to the actual card base, using foam dots to adhere the stripes.
I had saved one of the stripes in between for the sentiment. This I stamped with black StazOn ink using the sentiment stamp from BoBunny Captured stamp set. I first thought of adding some pearls, but then decided against it. I wanted the leafy vines to stand out! 😉
I am submitting this card to the Colour Me Card Challenge #51
