Runway Inspired Challenge #81

Hello!

I am back with a card I am going to submit to the Runway Inspired Challenge #81. I debated a lot about how to make a card using the inspiration this time – it was not that I was lacking ideas – I was just not satisfied with what I was getting after racking my brains – I wanted more!

And what better place than Pinterest to get just that! πŸ˜€ I got my inspiration from this BnW card by Maile Belles here.

For my card, I first drew some lines using black acrylic paint and filled it with colors using my Copic markers. I wanted to be as close as possible to the colors in the inspiration dress. But as my stash of Copics is very very limited, I just went with the nearest colors! πŸ˜‰ I then adhered this piece over a black cardstock panel, adhered it the a white card base at an angle, and trimmed the excess off.

For the sentiment, I had a leftover piece I had die cut using the Hand-lettered Hello die from WPlus9. I colored this using Tarnished Brass Distress Paint. Once this was dry, I added some gold glitter stickles on top and adhered it to the card. I also added a few drops of the same stickes on the colored panel as embellishment.

And that finished my card! How do you like it?

Here’s the inspiration from the Runway Inspired Challenge #81
