Thanks, Love

Hello! This week, though I wasn’t particularly lacking mojo, I just wasn’t able to get started. That is until I saw a few challenges and a few more inspirational cards. Than, I couldn’t wait to make some cards! And here are the results –

Sovushka Slavia Card Sketch #32Lots of red, even as a monochrome makes lots of impact, doesn’t it! 🙂 Love that watercolored background! I watercolored the background piece and then adhered the sentiment and the hearts die cut from paper from DCWV Serenity Stack using Lawn Fawn Hearts dies and Paper Trey Ink Wet Paint die. The ‘you’, which is almost invisible amidst all the red, comes from Winnie & Walter The Big, The Bold & The Happy.

My second card uses stamps from Inkadinkado Batik Cartouches to make a rangoli like pattern – I just love patterns like these, all the more so, since its in focus! 🙂

CAS(E) This Sketch #138I used only pigment inks this time – Color Box Orange, Heliotrope, Turquoise and Versamark Yellow for stamping. The sentiment comes from Paper Smooches Fancy Frames stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I drew the lines in the end using Copic 0.03 Multiliner.

Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
