#331 – Mondo Magnolia Mania (Part 2)

Hello! Back with a third card for today – and this one too has Ellen Hutson Mondo Magnolia! This one is also a part of my World Card-making Day marathon – consisting of all of four cards!! πŸ˜›

Mondo Magnolia Mania 2Same as my previous card, I first stamped the image on a K & Company pattern paper and die cut it. I also stamped the inner portion of the flower (mini-flower??) on a white card stock panel and die cut that too. I then colored my background using acrylic paints and adhered the pattern paper flower directly on top and the white on using foam dots. I then stamped the sentiment from Paper Trey Ink Good Times in Memento Tuxedo Black. Finally added some gold glitter stickle to the flower center – just couldn’t resist! πŸ˜›

Submitting this to Sovushka Slavia Autumn CAS-Marathon: Phase V – Control Works, Simon Says Stamp World Card Making Day and Time Out Challenge #41: Inspired By Words (Autumn…the year’s last, loveliest smile) (since there are loads of autumn colors in the card! :D) –

  1. gorgeous Ashwini-I always love your funky cards-love the contrast of the pretty flower with the splash background. Great to see you at TO, we are so pleased you support our challenge so much x

  2. Great card, love the ‘texture’ of the bigger flower, looks like fabric. Thanks for joining the fun at Time Out Challenge

  3. Awesome card – I love how you used the patterned paper for the first layer of the flower – it adds such great dimension to the design – and those painted stripes are so perfect! Thanks so much for taking the Time Out to play along with us! Jill
