#343 – Magnolias

PE: Color Throwdown Featured Stamper!!

Hello! I could never get tired of watercoloring. Especially not when you have the perfect flowers and the perfect colors for water-coloring!! πŸ˜€

I first stamped flowers from Altenew Magnolias For Her over watercolor paper in Milled Lavender and the leaves in Shabby Shutters distress inks. I then watercolored the flowers using Broken China and Spun Sugar distress inks and the leaves using Shabby Shutters distress ink. I then stamped the sentiment from the same stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I then stamped the card base with My Favorite Things Pinstripes using Memento London Fog ink and mounted the watercolor paper using foam tape. I thought of adding some clear sequins but finally decided to keep it simple, so the focus goes on the watercoloring. πŸ™‚
