#353 – Happy Birthday

PE: Scrapulechki Top 5! 🙂

ColourQ Courtier!

Hello! I made this card for a friend celebrating her birthday this month –

Happy Birthday (1)I used stamps from Ellen Hutson Bohemian Garden and Memento Teal Zeal along with Forest Moss, Fried Brick, Tea Dye distress inks. I first stamped the stems and then partially stamped the flowers in different inks. I then colored them in the same colors. To enhance them, I added shadow to each flower and stem and finally the black splattered dots using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens.

Happy Birthday (3)The kraft card base is trimmed such that a bit of the folded layer beneath is shown. I mounted this card panel on top. I then stamped the sentiment from Altenew Label Love in Hero Arts Cup O’Joe ink, trimmed it and mounted it along with some brown ombre string. I then embellished the card using a few rhinestones.

Happy Birthday (4)For the envelope, I used the same stamp sets and stamped using Hero Arts Unicorn white pigment ink and then colored it using a Prisma Color white pencil.

Submitting this to ColourQ Challenge #315 and Scrapulechki CAS-Muse – May Park

Thanks for stopping by! 🙂

  1. What a beautiful card! I LOVE that stamp set & all your fabulous coloring! Congrats on your pumpkin card honors too 😃

  2. This is just gorgeous. Love the look of those stamps after you have colored them and done all your magic. And, the envelope is such an elegant addition. Love how that came out, too. Thanks so much for playing along at ColourQ this week.
