#358 – Ellen Hutson November Mix it Up Challenge with Mama Elephant

Hello! Ellen Hutson is challenging us to combine products with Mama Elephant this time for the Mix-up challenge. Two companies which make some of my favorite stamps! How could I not play! πŸ˜€

I wanted to keep by theme soft. I chose some grey cardstock and stamped the flowers from Ellen Hutson Bohemian Garden on it using Hero Arts Unicorn White pigment ink. Setting this aside, I stamped the bears from Mama Elephant Bear Hugs in Memento Tuxedo Black and colored them using Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens. Very little coloring, actually, since these are polar bears, though! πŸ™‚ I then fuzzy cut the image and set it aside.

Love You, Mama BearI trimmed a piece of vellum to place between the card base and the bears. I stamped the sentiment using Color Box Stucco from Rich Rustics and also stamped the stars using Hero Arts Unicorn White pigment ink. I used only washi tape to adhere the vellum to the card base. I then adhered the bears to the vellum adding adhesive only at the center and once dry, raised the sides a bit to show some dimension.

Love You, Mama BearAnd that finished my card! I am happy that I was able to keep the look soft. :D. I am also submitting this to My-Scrap.ru Clean & Simple challenge where they have challenged us to use transparency.

Tell me how you liked it too! And thanks for stopping by! πŸ™‚

  1. Love the softness of colors here Ashwini, the white stamping adds perfect amount of soft colors, not disturbing the soft look. Love the cute bears, and the pop of colorful washi is perfect touch. Love it.
