#397 – Ink Smooshing

PE: ColourQ Colour Queen!

ColourQ - Honorable Mention

Hello! Its been some time since I played with watercolors – actually played, not tried to do ‘prim and proper’ watercoloring. This here is a result of one such ‘play’!

You Are A Gem

I played with distress inks and ‘practiced’ (yeah, right!!) some ink smooshing. I used Cracked Pistachio, mix of Crushed Olive + Mowed Lawn and mix of Pine Needles + Mowed Lawn. The colors are inspired by the current ColorQ Challenge.

You Are A Gem

I then stamped the sentiment from Neat & Tangled Faceted, drew some diamonds using a clear watermark pen and embossed them using silver glitter embossing powder from Wow. (The second image is just to prove I used silver ep! :P) I then foam mounted this to the card base. Simple! πŸ™‚

Submitting this to CAS(E) This Sketch #154, ColourQ Challenge #324 and Just Us Girls #325, where the trend is to use metallics –

Thanks for stopping by! πŸ™‚
