#400 – Hello Dear Friend

Hello! A Third card!! 😀

Hello Dear Friend

Mostly Paper Smooches products used in this card – except one…

I used almost all the stamps from Calico stamp set, using Memento Dandilion, Tangelo and Cottage Ivy inks to stamp them on a card panel. I then added some details – a bit of shading, dots – using Faber Castell Polychromos color pencils. Once done, I die cut the panel using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles and another panel, from vellum, a bit smaller than the card panel. I adhered these pieces together and then foam mounted them on the card base.

Hello Dear Friend

For the sentiment, I used Hello (die cut) from foam and a piece of card stock and used Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens to color it in a grey gradient. I then stamped the ‘dear friend’ using Alphadot stamp set and Hero Arts Soft Granite and trimmed the strip to size. Finally I adhered the pieces on the card.

Though the card is actually relatively simple, I spent time stamping the flowers quite a few times, since I am not used to repeat stamping – or arranging the pieces in a ‘looks good’ kinda way! 😛 Well, I am glad it came out pretty well after all! 🙂
