#455 – A Bunch – Three Ways

PE: CAS On Sunday Favorite (Top 3)!!

CAS on Sunday - Honorable Mention

Hello! Using another new stamp set from my stash – Waffle Flower A Bunch. The fact that the stamp has flowers with outlines with large space inside along with the solid stamps makes way for lots of possibilities.. and I explored a few –

Love You A Bunch

For my first card, I used both the outline and the solid stamps. I started stamping the outline flowers using Paper Trey Ink Fine Linen ink. I then stamped the stems and leaves, masking the flowers wherever necessary. I then stamped the solids of the flowers and leaves using Hero Arts Butter Cup, Hero Arts Soft Cantaloupe, Paper Trey Ink Melon Berry and Memento Bamboo Leaves. I then added a grassy ground of sorts using the little patterns stamps in Simon Says Stamp Birthday Bits and Memento Bamboo Leaves.

Love You A Bunch

I then cut the panel using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles and cut the window using Spellbinders Deckled Rectangles. I then stamped the sentiment, from the same stamp set, within the window using Memento Tuxedo Black. I then foam mounted the outside panel and then adhered the inside panel on the card base.

For my second card, I used the outline stamps only –

Thinking of You

I stamped the flowers using Memento Tuxedo Black and a bit of masking. I also stamped two flowers on a separate panel. I then colored them all using Oil Pastels. I then fuzzy cut the whole bunch. My initial idea was to have a single panel, but I ended up smudging the paper where I didn’t want it, so I had to cut out the whole bunch out – and it worked will, since I cut right beside the outlines. I also colored the edge of the cut out using Zig brush pen in Black.

Thinking of You

Once done, I drew the bouquet (I felt the bouquet in the stamp set was a bit small for the big bunch of flowers) and colored it too. I then adhered the bigger panel of flowers directly on the panel, trimmed it, distressed the edges using Prima Comfort Craft Distressing tool, stamped the sentiment from Micia Butterflies in Spring using Memento Tuxedo Black and foam mounted the panel on the card base. I then adhered the two extra flowers using foam dots.

For my third card, I used only the solids, along with some other stamps –

I wanted each element of the design to be intermingled and overlapping. I first made the zig-zags, using Heidi Swapp Chevron stencil and Tattered Rose and Mustard Seed distress inks. I then stamped the loopy lines, from Neat & Tangled Little Tangles using Hero Arts Soft Pool ink. I then stamped the sentiment, from Simon Says Stamp Sending Happy Thoughts using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I stamped the solid flowers and leaves around it using the same ink.

I then trimmed the panel, and mounted it to a side of the card base. Love the graphic design in this card! 😀
