#465 -Winnie & Walter: Share the Love Week (My Take 2)

I have today one more card for the Winnie & Walter Share the Love Week, as they share the fun with us all, collaborating with Pinkfresh Studio and their Felicity collection. I wanted to make a couple more cards, but was a bit busy and ended with only one more –

My inspiration this time is this card from Kate Capper from Day 5. I absolutely loved the bright colors of the flowers, the simple layout – especially the scallop edge, and the big bold font of the sentiment.

And here’s my take – I used Winnie & Walter digi stamps for coloring & used my Faber Castell Polychromos color pencils to color them. I chose, more or less the same colors as my inspiration, and of course the scalloped edge and also the big bold fonts. 🙂

The scallop edge is just fuzzy cut, the sentiment is from Bo Bunny Captured and a mix of Winnie & Walter stamps. I finished with a few colored sequins for embellishing.

Thank you for stopping by! 🙂

  1. Absolutely stunning Ashwini, I don’t own a single stamp from W&W, cannot find it here, and you already know cannot shop online….I love their stamps, You have outdone yourself with these roses, Bravo!!!

  2. Hello Ashwini!
What a beautiful CASE of Kate’s card! You did a fantastic job with the fuzzy cut scalloped edge… I find it particularly difficult cutting perfect rounded shapes with scissors.
    Thanks for visiting!
