#497 – Share The Love Week (4)

Its ‘Share the Love Week’ at Ellen Hutson and Winnie & Walter, where they have both combined their products and come up with some amazing cards and challenges over the course of 5 days.

I am sharing my next card in the series. This time, I am mixing the theme from two days – Day 4: Transparent and Day 5: Mood Board –

Share the love Essentials by Ellen mood board challenge

Here’s my card –

Thank you for Everything

For this card, I first made the background with a panel using Winnie & Walter Scenery Stripes and a few pastel inks and Memento Tuxedo Black. I then adhered this over the card base, and made a shaker card using some bronze beads. These beads are not exactly meant for shakers, I just snuck them over from my sister’s jewelry making stash! πŸ˜›

Thank you for Everything

Once the shaker was done, I adhered these flowers that I had made for another project but never used them there. The flowers are die cut from vellum using Ellen Hutson Ellen Hutson Wild Garden. However, before die cutting, I added some copper leafing over them. I finally added the sentiment, from Winnie & Walter The Big, The Bold & You.

That’s my card number 4. Hope you liked it!

I am also submitting this card to Ellen Hutson: June Pin-Sights Challenge, Can You CASE It #126: A Die Challenge andΒ  Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Anything Goes

  1. Yes, I like it… a lot!!! I thought your background was pattern paper, love how it turned out! The foiling over the vellum flowers in combination with the copper beads bring the whole design together.
Thank you so much for always choosing the most beautiful and encouraging words about my work… I wish I had a better English vocabulary, so I could do the same to you, or maybe I can comment in Portuguese… nah, better not :).

    • Thank you so much Cris!! I think it is always difficult to put thoughts into words..but I am glad you leave your lovely comments every time! πŸ™‚ But your cards are always so wonderful, I just can’t help leaving a comment every single time!! And maybe I can try learning a little Portuguese! πŸ˜‰
