#520 – Close to CAS

PE: Honorable Mention at CAS(E) This Sketch (seriously can’t believe it!!!)

CASE This Sketch - Honorable Mention

Hello! So I made a couple more cards the day before..when I was full of energy for making cards! These two cards are not exactly CAS, but near to it. They have minimal elements to make them and minimal coloring too.

Here’s card 1 –

I’ve used the following supplies:
Reverse Confetti Weather it Together stamp set. I’ve used Hero Arts Butter Bar, Neon Sunshine and Charcoal inks and die cut them using the corresponding dies. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set, stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink.
The pattern paper from Best of Heidi Swapp

And here’s card 2 –

For this card I’ve used:
Hero Arts Graph stamped with Hero Arts Tide Pool for the background
Mama Elephant Oh Happy Birds stamped using MFT Hybrid Black ink. I had a few I had created for an earlier project. Those were colored with distress inks. I made a few more and colored them using Zig brush pens.
The sentiment is from Reverse Confetti All About You. stamped using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.

  1. Wow Ashwini !! First card is darn adorable ..Loved arrangement ..circles n birds on it , all chances to get cluttered but you have kept it beautifully CAS ! The background on second one is very Interesting, awesome take on both the sketches πŸ™‚

  2. Oh my… both cards are fantastic, but the first one is ingenious, it’s like those birdies are telling us about their love story. Sooo very sweet and totally adorableness (is that a word?)! πŸ™‚
