Hello!
I am playing with the very talented Ksenija at her challenge to get back the mojo for the new year – Chasing Mojo with Sweet Kobylkin.
I had given a card to case just a couple of days ago –
And I made this card as the CASE of my own card –
I made the card with a few common things being – solid leaf stamps, distress inks in mostly green and a little blue, black splatters, the watercolored background and colors and the sentiment at the bottom – and a few different things – I stamped the inks with a bit of inking+misting first, then stamped them once they had dried, using a shade darker ink, stamped it directly (no misting). And of course, the white sentiment is a die cut instead of black stamping.
This card does look a bit more haphazard than the previous one (at least I think so) but I love that look – a sort of ‘random’ look – I usually find that difficult to achieve, so I am happy about that! 🙂
Here’s the supply list:
Altenew Lacy Scrolls
Lawn Fawn Quinn’s ABCs
Distress inks in greens and blues.
Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
I love love these cards!! I’m so glad you CASEd this one!! It is one of my favorites and your CASEd card is just as gorgeous!
Thank you so much Channin!! So happy you liked it!! 🙂
Wonderful Case, love the all over stamping and the bright colours plus the splatters x
Thank you Sandie!
Looks fantastic to me! I loved the first one a lot and I love the new one as much… I find it perfectly balanced in elements/colors/space. As I see it, your mojo is alive and kicking :).
Well it certainly seems to be alive now! And I’m not complaining!! 😉
Love the lacy scroll leaves here, I do have have that set, and it is one of my under utilized sets. I might try to CASE your card with all the vibrant colors, I doubt if it will be as good as yours though! Beautiful card Ashwini!
I might say the same thing – I not used this set as much as I would like!! 😀 But I would love to see your version Rahmat – with your own twist in it!! 🙂
Ashwini, your both cards are amazing and I am very happy that you are participating in both parts of Chasing Mojo Party. I should try your techniques, the result is stunning!
Thank you so much Ksenija!! I am making a couple more cards.. Your challenge has really brought out my mojo!! 🙂
