#586 – Another for Double Celebration!

Hello! I am back with another card for the double celebration of 3rd Anniversary of Winnie & Walter and 300 Weeks of Inspiration by Kara. Its my second card for both challenges –

The inspiration file is from Week 271, Barbara Anders’s card.

Barbara #271:

More inspiration from this spectacular mood board from Heather at Winnie & Walter’s challenge … such an abundance of flowers!! –

I used Basically Essential stencil with some white embossing paste for the background, topping it with flowers from Winnie & Walter’s In Bloom: Addie’s Garden. The flowers are vellum, with white heat embossed images, colored using Zig brush markers. I trimmed them, then arranges them with the sentiment from Stamplorations Amazing die and a tiny ‘you’re’ from Winnie & Walter’s The Big, The Bold and Party. And a few silver sequins for embellishment complete the card!

Submitting this card to the following challenges –

K and R Designs 300 Weeks Of Inspiration Challenge

Winnie and Walter 3rd Birthday Celebrations

Sequins Challenge with Kate

Stencil Challenge with Kelly

Bright Colours Challenge with Lydia

Mood Board Challenge with Heather P – lots of flowers and leaves in this card!

Thank you for stopping by! πŸ™‚

  1. Wow those are gorgeous cards! There are so many details I love about your cards; the way you lightened the layered die cut flowers by using vellum, how you coloured in blue just a few of the stencilled embossed paste to create a leafy background, and most of all how you managed to explain what you did in just four lines!! I’m not just pinning your card, I’m printing it for my inspiration board!

    • Thank you so much, Gwendolyn! I am super happy you liked it so much!! But you know, its all vellum (even the blue part is a flower/leaf stamp), no layering, and I had to fuzzy cut everything, since I don’t have the dies. This also means that I haven’t explained enough!!! πŸ˜€ πŸ˜‰ But thank you so much! You really made my day with your sweet comment!!

  2. So I was impressed after seeing your thumbnail on my challenge post at Winnie & Walter, I was really impressed after coming to your blog and seeing your card close-up, and now I’m way beyond impressed after reading your reply to the last comment. You cut all those flowers?!? You are crazy, in a very good way. Crazy-dedicated to your craft. Absolutely love this!
