Hello and welcome to a new challenge at Seize the Birthday!! This time you have a topping of ‘Splatter’. It is an optional topping, meaning it is still ok to go with a Birthday project of any kind, if you don’t like adding splatters to your project! Its your choice!
Of course, I chose to add splatters to my inspiration birthday card! Plenty of them, in fact!
To make this card, I watercolored a watercolor panel with my Gansai Tambi watercolors. I was not sure whether I wanted the whole card or a portion of the card to be colored, so I initially colored a complete panel. But once dry, I decided to trim it out, tearing off the base portion, for some added texture.
Well, I die cut the leaves (?) out of Concord and 9th Layering Leaves die out of the same watercolor paper. Since this is offwhite, I chose the card base also to be off white. I then added the splatters on both the watercolored panel and the card base. Once everything was dry, I added the leaves, then the die cut sentiment from Die Versions Celebrate die, and the stamped sentiment, which is from Paper Trey Ink Wet Paint 3.
