PE: Top at Sovushka Slavia CAS Marathon Stage 2!
Hello! Its time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday. The topping this time is to use ‘Balloons’ on your birthday themed project. Of course, as usual, there us also an optional “toppings” challenge, and as long as your project is birthday-related, it’s worthy of entry!
For my inspirational card, I chose going CAS, with a critter and balloons!
I wanted this card to focus on the colorful butterfly, so I didn’t color the critter. And its totally quick and easy to make… I simply stamped the critter from Simon Says Stamp Gifts of Love in black ink, and colored only the scarf using Zig Brush pens. I then stamped the balloons, fromΒ Simon Says Stamp Birthday Bits in various pigment inks. Finally stamped the balloon strings and bows along with the sentiment, which is also from Simon Says Stamp Birthday Bits. I then die cut this card using My Favorite Things Blueprints 27 and foam mounted it over a white cardstock. That’s it, done! π
Submitting my card to the following challenges –
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge: Clean and Simple
Sovushka Slavia: CAS Marathon 2017: Stage 2 – Using Animated Heroes β People, Animals, Fairy Tale Chars
AAA Card Challenge #98: Creatures β Big or Small
Addicted to Stamps Challenge #259: Clean and Simple
