#670 – Hello

… and a lot of them too!

Sending Happy Thoughts

I first made the background by stamping the ‘hello’ from Simon Says Stamp Sending Happy Thoughts stamp set in pastel colors, then die cut it using My Favorite Things Blueprint 27. The sentiment die cut is something that was left over from a previous project – I die cut Paper Trey Ink Wet Paint 3 from some paper that I painted silver using acrylic paint, then stacked it with a few more die cuts. The smaller part of the sentiment is from the same stamp set, stamped in black ink. I mounted the whole thing over a grey card base.

  1. Hello again, Ashwini! I’ll skip word play with all your “hellos”. Beautiful pastel colors complemented with gray and silver. Perfect for all challenges! Btw, the CCC reminds me a lot of Taheerah’s challenge… I think that same image made an appearance in one of the CMBC :).

    • Don’t know if it was there in CMBC, I had only played the very last challenge! But it would have been great to see what she would have created, she’s so talented!! Thanks for your comments! 🙂

  2. What a lovely card! I love the unique use of the hello stamp to create that background and the split sentiment is a great touch! As always, thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational!
