#703 – Warmest Wishes

Hello! I decided to make another card for the Winter Coffee Lovers’ Blog Hop. Since my last card was something I had made an year ago, I felt I had to make something fresh and join again. Moreover, I haven’t really made that many Christmas cards either, so here goes –

Warmest Wishes

I stamped the plaid on a kraft card panel using pigment ink, die cut the wreath and mounted it on a white card base. The coffee cup is colored using distress oxide inks, with a little bit of splattered water. I combined products from a lot of companies here, and that makes me happy! πŸ™‚ Here’s the list –

Cool Cup from My Favorite Things
Lots of Snowflakes from Simon Says Stamp
In Bloom: Paulina’s Greenery from Winnie & Walter
Scenery: Stripes from Winnie & Walter
Merry Kisses from Neat & Tangled (for the sentiment)
Pigment inks from ColorBox
And last but, definitely, not the least, a clear rhinestone!

I am joining the following challenges –

  1. Awesome colors! Love the oranges against the deep greens. Cool background, and love the snowflake and bling on the cup! Thanks so much for sharing your awesome work with us at Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge! hugs, Maura

  2. Each element is fantastic all on its own, Ashwini, but you have layered them brilliantly so that the plaid and the wreath and the really WARMly colored cup all go together perfectly! Great idea to use vellum for the lid on the cup!! Happy Holiday hugs, Darnell
