#752 – Birthday Calories

Hello! And welcome to a new challenge at Seize the Birthday! As usual, the challenge is to create a birthday project, and you are free to go with or without the topping. And the topping this time is ‘It’s Just A Number’.

Seize The Birthday - The Toppings

Seize The Birthday - Anything Goes

My first thought was to use the number to specify the age.. but I didn’t want that. That would end up making the card too specific, and I prefer keeping my card as generic as possible so that I can send them to anybody. After going back and forth a few ideas and after going though everything in my stash, I finally found this stamp that would, indirectly, specify a number. Adding that to the fact that I desperately wanted to try out this new layout (completely full of pattern papers), I came out with this card –

By the way, except for one, all other patterns are handmade, using stamps. šŸ™‚ Here’s a list of products I used –

Simon Says Stamp Birthday Bits
Technique Tuesday Lots of Dots, Winnie & Walter Wish Big with sentiments from Winnie & Walter Sentimental: Birthday, with stitched borders using Lawn Fawn Stitched Borders die
WPlus9 Bubble Talk with sentiment from Reverse Confetti Love & Ice Cream
Spellbinders Labels4 die
My Favorite Things Chevron Stripes

I hope you liked the card. There are lot more awesome inspirations at the Seize the Birthday challenge blog, where you can also see an awesome card from our Surprise Party Guest, Sonja K! Hope you do hop over and check it all out! šŸ™‚

Thank you very much for stopping bu! šŸ™‚
