#758 – A Happy Hello

Hello! After a long time of “lost mojo” mode, I decided to just make something, whether I liked it or not. The card yesterday and today are results of that thought. And, as it turned out, I did like the cards I made.. And hopefully, they’ll help me come out of this slump too.. 🙂

Anyway, here’s the second card I made –

A Happy Hello

To make this card, I first stamped a brown card base with the leafy images from Reverse Confetti Blooms n Buds, followed by a small flower image to cover up the gaps. I also added a few small dots to fill up smaller spaces. I then die cut this piece in the center using Spellbinders A2 Curved Matting Basics 2. I also mounted this on the card base, using foam tape to mount the center. I also added a dotted line on the raised piece

A Happy Hello

I then die cut a circle from white card base, embossed it using a circular die from Winnie & Walter Ring in the Celebration, and stamped the sentiment from Reverse Confetti Whole Lotta Happy. I then used some flowers – that I had stamped and cut god knows when – from Reverse Confetti Garden Bunch and leaves from WPlus9 Fresh Cut Flowers.

After adhering these flowers on the circular sentiment piece using liquid glue, I added foam tape behind the whole piece and mounted it on the card base.

I am joining the following challenges with this card –

  1. It’s definitely back… the mojo, I mean! Love your interpretation on the sketch, and the circle of flowers really contrasts from the flawless bg!
