#799 – Bunny’s Present

Hello and welcome! We have a new challenge on Seize the Birthday blog. The challenge is to make birthday projects, and you also have the option of using a ‘Topping’ that is given in every challenge. And the ‘Topping’ this time is ‘Travel’.

Seize The Birthday - The Toppings

Seize The Birthday - Anything Goes

I do not have that many stamps which directly denote travel. So I’ve made something that might denote travelling. Can you imagine, please, that this bunny is travelling to its friend to deliver its present??

I first stamped the images using Antique Linen distress ink, then watercolored it all using a bunch of Prima watercolor pencils. The florals in the background are from Pink Fresh Studio Fluer 1, the bunny and its cycle are from Lil Inker Designs Rustic Spring and the sentiment is from Reverse Confetti Tall Blooms.

The bunny is still deciding on whether to bring the pretty big flower too, but it has already decided on the smaller ones in the cycle’s basket. Can you see them? No? Here’s a closeup –

  5. Wow Ashwini, you always blow me away with your colouring and your masking skills. This is so stunning and the bunny and bike look like they are part of the floral stamp image, its done so perfectly. I love the soft colouring and I know this would bring a smile to anyone’s face. 7. Oh, I can see the bunny will travel to its friend with the cute bouquet! You did a great job combining various stamp sets and created a cute and cheerful scene! Love this!

  8. Well, I see two options here. Either your cute little bunny could be just enjoying nature after a well deserved stop, since he was pedaling for a few miles… or he just left home and is now taking a deep breath, feeling the scent of beautiful flowers surrounding him, and then heading over to his friend to deliver a present. Now, since I trust you, I’m positive that the second option is the right one… he is definitely travelling, he wouldn’t dare not to ;D. Absolutely stunning, Ashwini!
