#803 – Celebrate in CAS

Hello and welcome! Time for yet another challenge at Seize the Birthday blog. The challenge is to make birthday projects, and you also have the option of using a ‘Topping’ that is given in every challenge. And the ‘Topping’ this time is ‘CAS’.

Seize The Birthday - The Toppings

Seize The Birthday - Anything Goes

My definition of CAS is quite loose. For me, CAS can still include texture and cover the card, as long as there isn’t too much of it, and it doesn’t draw too much of attention, and the assembly is quick. The card I’ve made follows this –

All die cuts! And I had to try really hard to not add any embellishments – whew! So hard!! I’ve used the following products – Neat & Tangled Star Cover Plate, Memory Box Honey Blossom Sprig and Winnie & Walter The Big, The Bold & Party sentiment dies.

I hope you like this card! More more variations of CAS birthday cards, check out the Seize the Birthday blog where you can get a lot more inspiration from our fabulous DT and Marianne, our Surprise Party Guest! And don’t forget to join the party! πŸ™‚

Thank you so much for stopping by! πŸ™‚

  1. I love your card and agree that CAS can still fill the space! You have so much texture which makes it so interesting! Hope you have a great day!

  2. I almost never make a card with all die cuts, but you have inspired me, Ashwini! I love the contrast of the geometric background and the organic floral sprig.

    • That branch peeking through happened just because it happened when I laid all the die cuts down to see whether it was looking good – it felt like the little sprig wanted that so I ended up doing it that way!! πŸ˜€
Thanks for the kind words, TaeEun!
