Hello and welcome!! Its been such a looooong time since I made a card to join challenges…too long! So, I finally finished all my DT duties, and after recovering from my week-long fever, having a couple of holidays, I thought of making something to make me happy! π A couple of cards are the results of this, the first one being this –
I took out some stamps from My Favorite Things, one of the companies that I have a lot of stamps from. I used Geometric Greenery, Happy Hedgehogs and a ladybug from Things with Wings. I colored them all using Zig Brush marker pends, fussy cut them. On my cardstock, I stamped a gray gradient of Etched Tribal, cut out two pieces of Pinking Edge Square, foam mounted them, and adhered all my fussy cut pieces. Stamped the sentiment, a combination of sentiments from Happy Hedgehogs and Top Dog, trimmed it and foam mounted it too.
Something that took a bit more time than normal, but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole process!!
I am joining the following challenges with this card –
My Favorite Things Color Challenge #128
My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #461
AAA Birthday card challenge #6: Color Palette
Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge: Anything Goes
Thanks for stopping by!
You fussy cut that tiny bugs ?? Your fussy cutting is very neat just like die-cutting Ashwini ! Loved your take on color and sketch challenge and the bg compliments the cute images very nicely. Over all its a Happy card.
P.S Good to know you are recovering. Hope you feel healthy soon to create more cards π
Thank you so much Pooja!! Both for the kind comments and your well wishes!! β₯οΈβ₯οΈ
Super cute hedgehogs and a brilliant card design. I too am in awe of your fussy cutting! Fab sentiment too. Thanks for playing at AAA Birthday, hope to see you join in with future challenges too.
Thank you so much Jane!! So very kind of you! I’ll make sure to join again too!! π
A super adorable card, Ashwini! About not making cards, or other kind of projects, frequently… in 2016 I made about 63 projects. Now we are close to welcome a brand new year and I have something like 14 projects π
Hope you are fully recovered by now π
