Hello and welcome! I’ve made something Art Journal after such a long time! I’ve made a few mixed media pieces, a few draw & paint pieces in my art book.. but something like a art journal spread has been forever! I found instant inspiration after watching this video from Maremi’s Art and immediately created this –
I used multiple washi tapes, a few stamps and a die cut and distress inks for watercoloring a bit. The color has come a bit creamier in the pic than it is in irl. But I couldn’t modify the pic any more without losing the colors on it. Guess I’ll leave it to your imagination! 😀

Wow, mixed media art journal, you are really good in everything you do Ashwini. Mixed media is something I wont ever try because I know it is out my league, I simply dont understand how everything works🙈

Its totally ok as long as you think it looks good! Don’t worry about anything to ‘know’ – its more about whether you enjoyed looking at it or not, that’s all!

What I love in mixed media is the constant surprise of little details here and there… a bit of thorn chipboard emphasized by a splash of watercolor, words and numbers half disguised by some washi tape… and so on…
