Hello! I had made an extra Diwali card…in 2018….!! My sis had ended up seeing the one I had made for everyone (which I posted in my last post), while I was making it, so I made another one for her. 🙂
I used perfect pearls along with the textured paper that I have also used in some other projects (here and here). I used Distress Oxide Ink on the embossing folder to emboss the pattern on the texture paper (Versamark watermark ink wasn’t sticking properly) and then smeared some gold perfect pearls on top, wiping off the excess. I trimmed this to add it on top of a white piece of cardstock, which I then adhered on top of a kraft card base.
For the sentiment, I gold heat embossed the greeting using Altenew Modern Deco stamp on top of vellum. I adhered this piece of vellum underneath a frame diecut using Paper Smooches Frame4 die, and then fussy cut off the excess. I then adhered this on the card. For embellishing I used some gold sequins
For the envelope I used Inkadinkado Organic Fabric Flourishes along with Altenew Modern Deco, just like in the card.
Thank you so much for stopping by! 🙂
