Hello and welcome! I made this card inspired by a few challenges.. and also the fact that I made a new purchase in December which I was itching to put to good use! ๐
I first die cut the poinsettia using Altenew Poinsettia 3D dies, watercolored them using distress inks and adhered them. Then I started with the rest of the card. I embossed a card panel using We R Memory Keepers Geometry embossing folder and adhered it over my card base.
I then adhered two strips of washi tape, one with grey stripes and another which was an antique silver-like over scrap cardstock, trimmed it and adhered it over the embossed piece. I also adhered the sentiment, from Avery Elle Petals & Stems stamp set, trimmed it, then foam mounted it on the card. I finally adhered the poinsettia. Then I added a few pieces of silver and white dots of Nuvo crystal drops for embellishing.
And that’s my card. I don’t remember making a quicker and easier card than this! Fun too! ๐
I’m joining the following challenges with my card –

love how you have water coloured your pointsettia and that embossed background adds lovely texture and interest without detracting from the focal point. A lovely card xx

Such a cool and modern look to the poinsettia the way you have added the distress ink watercolouring! Great use of the grey tones for the leaves and the washi stripes. Thanks for joining us at Color Hues!
