Hello and welcome to a new challenge up at the Tic Tac Toe challenge! Continuing the theme for January, being ‘Winter/Birthday/Thank You’, and we have a new challenge board for you –
And here’s what I made –
I started by painting the acrylic red and silver colors on some cardstock. The silver paint is almost a champagne-silver color and also very sparkly, so the color in the image looks a bit off…almost gold like.
Well, after the paints dried, I die cut the two panels using the Pink Fresh Studio Fancy Floral die. I adhered them on my white card base.
For the sentiment, I die cut the Concord & 9th Cuddles & Hugs from vellum and a few pieces of scrap cardstock. The thinner piece, I again painted using the same champagne-silver paint. I adhered them together and then on the card. The sentiment also comes from the same company and had the same name. I trimmed the strip of cardstock after I stamped on it and foam mounted it on my card.
And that finished my card! I’m joining the following challenges –

Its screaming festive Ashwini! Thank you for telling that its silver, because I kept looking for gold in the moodboard and I was scratching my head, and decided to read through 🙈😂 I can see silver on the next picture, bummer!!! I could have scrolled instead of trying to wonder if my eyes have gone bad! Absolutely fantastic card. Let me do some catch up now! I will be spamming you blog!
That’s sometimes the problem with photography – getting the colors right!! This one was a real pain to get right… I just gave up in the end! Sorry for all the trouble! 😕
This is such a beautiful card Ashwini, love the layers and colours.
Thank you Aileen!
I bet that shine is amazing in real life. I would never have thought of using acrylic paint for this. It has worked amazingly well, love the vibrancy of thew red with the silver and what an amazing die xx
