Hello!! And we’re back with the Inspiration challenge! We took a long time this time – what with our long year end break.. we really wanted a break from everything!! 😀

But the wait is over, and me sister and I both have our projects ready! This time, the below collage, chosen by my sister is the inspiration –
So wonderfully colorful!! 🙂 And that’s what I wanted in my card –
I started with the colorful panel. I chose a couple of colorful washi tape and a gold and a copper foil washi tapes. I then adhered them alternatively and diagonally on the panel. I then trimmed it to size and adhered it on my card base.

I then die cut white cardstock and two pieces of vellum using the Altenew Dog Rose panel dies. Adhered them together over another layer of vellum, which I then cut to size. I foam mounted this over my washi card panel. Finally came the sentiment from Altenew Essential Sentiment Strips, which also I foam mounted.
And that’s my card! Check out what my sister made -a gorgeous bracelet! I think I would choose a dress to wear along with this sparkly one (not choose the bracelet after deciding what to wear), if not for the fact that I have nowhere to go right now!
Thank you so much for stopping by!

Love your card! The background is so colorful and yet doesn’t overwhelm the white and the vellum. Very nicely done! (I still keep seeing polymer clay canes in the background, lol…)
😂 Thank you sis!! Mayb I can use that washi tape for another bracelet!! 😂😂
This card is so clever, that background is amazing and using the vellum to mute it but not obliterate it was a truly brilliant idea. I love it. What amazing and vibrant inspiration xx
Thank you so much Hilary! 💕
Wow, amazing card! So beautiful 😁. Happy and creative wishes! Hugs, Jo x
Thank you Jo!
Its fantastic card Ashwini !! Loved how you created the bg with washi tapes and toned it down with vellum and whites !
Thank you Pooja!💕
A different approach from Anita’s project, but your style is very present too! Something I will try soon, is the double layer of vellum… how cool this effect looks?!? Thanks for sharing.
I love the effects of vellum! This one examplifies it so well! 💕 Thanks for the compliments!
I thought I commented on this one, I love the beautiful diecut panel Ashwini and the background is so interesting. Simply stunning.
Thank you so much Rahmat!
