#1023 – STB: Many of Something

Hello and welcome! It’s time for a new challenge at Seize the Birthday and with it being my time to choose the Topping, I went with ‘Many of Something‘. Of course, it’s also always ‘Anything goes’ so, as long as the project has a birthday theme, you can join the challenge. We’re once again joined by our Surprise Party Guest Åsa Johansson.

Here’s what I made for this challenge –

I chose to use a single image and stamp it multiple times. I used an image from Altenew Scalloped Ornaments stamp set. I chose a mix of colors from these two color schemes as well –

After using a non-black ink for stamping the images in a previous card, I thought I would try it again here, and so went with a reddish brown tone ink – Adirondack Ginger. I stamped the other colors on top – the color palettes helped here, and I didn’t end up with the colors looking uncoordinated.

Since all the stamping was done on the card base itself, I didn’t have to adhere or trim anything. Just the sentiment – which is from JustRite Lace Vintage Labels 3 stamp set, which I stamped in multiple times with colors which I used for the flowers. And that finished my card! I love the look of the muted colors in this one – the color palettes are really lovely. 🙂

  1. I had fun with your topping idea and I see that you did too. This colorful card is delightful and awe-inspiring too.

  2. Great idea to stamp in ‘non-black’! Looks fabulous with the colours you chose for the flowers. Thanks for the great topping!
