PE: Top 3 at A2ZScrapbooking Challenge!!
Hello! I am back with another project for the Winnie & Walter 4th Birthday Bash challenges.
I’ve been wanting to try this out for quite some time now, but didn’t really get the idea right in my mind. I wanted to achieve the look of some the stamps now-a-days which, so charmingly, combine words with flower images. I think I am half there – since I’ve used dies to achieve this look, and not stamps! 😉
Here’s how I made it – I first die cut the letters, then laid them back in place using temporary tape from behind. I then stamped the flowers, added all the dots. Then, I separated the die cut letters and colored portions of the die cuts using a black Zig brush pen.
Later, I die cut the panel and turned it to a shaker card using silver sequins, and mounted it on a pink card base.
The only thing I would change about this card, is to not make it a shaker, and keep the levels of the letters same as the rest of the card. Somehow the effect I wanted is not showcased well in this card 😦 But, since I did partially did get what I wanted, I am gonna say I am happy! 🙂
Products used on this card include (all Winnie & Walter products) –
Typecast Cary Letters
In Bloom: Victoria’s Very Merry Flowers
Essentials: Lana’s Cutaways
With this card I am joining the following challenges –
