Hello and welcome! As always, we start the month with the Happy Little Stampers Watercolor challenge!! It is an ‘Anything Goes‘ challenge and the optional theme this month is ‘Die cuts‘.
And here’s what I made –
I made this card using one of the die cut pieces sent by my friend and our Party Guest this time, Hilary!! Thank you for sending me these beautiful die cuts, Hilary – I’ve finally put one to good use! 😀
I first die cut the watercolor paper using Simon Says Stamp Stitched Rectangles die. I then separated the die cut pieces and colored them using water & distress inks. I then adhered the positive die cut onto another piece of die cut rectangle I had cut out of scrap cardstock and then adhered all the inlaid pieces. Thankfully, I didn’t lose any of them!
I then used an off-white cardstock to adhere the center piece and the frame and added the sentiment from Altenew Label Love and backed it with a couple of scrap cardstock for dimention and then adhered it on top.
This one looks so lovely with that die cut tree, I didn’t want to add anything extra at all!!
