Hello and welcome!
I have this set of dark kraft cardstock. The quality is good, but because it is so dark, I am unsure of how to put it to good use (other than as a cardbase). I thought of using some Distress Oxide Inks on them, since, having pigment property, they would show up better than other options.
I wanted the background to be in focus, and I used one of my latest additions to my stash – Concord & 9th Retro Petals Turnabout stencil. This is so much fun! I had tried it on a couple of other colors of cardstock, which I haven’t used on any cards yet, but the Distress Oxide Inks showed up very well on the dark kraft, using this stencil. For the centers, I used clear embossing and silver pearl embossing. Just look at that shine! 🙂
Once done, I was again lost – what do I do with it?! In the end, I decided to just go with a simple card, with only the addition of a sentiment. I used Concord & 9th Cuddles & Hugs die cut, stacking the part with the kraft die cut, and adding glossy accents for the top most thinnest layer. I also added glossy accents to the hearts.
And the color palette that I used –
