#1138 – Vintage Flowers

Hello and welcome! We have a new challenge up at Addicted to Stamps & More and the challenge this time is to ‘Make Your Mark‘!

Addicted to Stamps - Make Your Mark

And here’s my creation –

It’s been a very long time since I used my Prima watercolor pencils. These pencils don’t rpovide very rich and vibrant colors, so they are perfect for vintage liek themes. I also missed watercoloring some flowers so I thought combining them would be a great idea. I used stamped from Altenew Garden Treasure and Beautiful Day and Simon Says Stamp Sketch Ranunculus, stamped it using Antique Linen on Canson XL watercolor paper and then watercolored it.

Once done, I die cut the panel using Pink Fresh Studio Notched Corner Frame. I also cut a couple of additional panels to adhere them beneath this. I then adhered both the positive and negative pieces on the card base. For sentiment, I used Altenew Essential Sentiment Strips. I die cut a couple of stripes of this, adhered then together before adhering it on the card. No furner embellishements – I liked the clean look of the card. 🙂

And that’s my card. I’m also joining these challenges with my card –

  1. I do love the soft look of this one. It is beautiful. The way you have cut the panel, lifted it and kept the edges in place looks great too and you are right about the embellishments. None needed. Please don’t worry about visiting me. When you have time is fine. There are no expectations on my part. Life is too short, we can only do what we can do xx
