Hello and welcome! Today is a grand day where we celebrate the 200th challenge at the Seize the Birthday challenge!! Hip hip hurrah!! π π
For this challenge we want you to make a card and/or project that is inspired by the graphic above. Whether it be the colors, the balloons, the watercolor vibe, or the numbers etc… Whatever sparks your creativity. However for this challenge only, we are asking you to explain in your post how exactly you were inspired! And also, the ‘Anything Goes’ option is not available this time!
What’s more – to celebrate this special occasion, there will be more than one prize up for grabs so to make sure you head over to Seize The Birthday blog for all the details!
And now, finally coming to the card inspired by the very graphic that I made –
Of course, I chose watercoloring!! …Not!! I chose the colors and the partial theme of ‘water’. So, the scene comprises of some beautiful corals, plant life and some fishes swimming leisurely.
The stamps are from My Favorite Things Gill Friends and Paper Trey Ink/Ink to Paper Salt Air Flora stamp. I used the Winnie & Walter Madison stencil to create the fish-gill-like background. Finally the sentiment is from Sizzix Phrases stamp set.
Hop over to the Seize the Birthday blog for more inspiration from our wonderful team and information on the prizes. Of course, there is some extra inspiration from our Surprise Party Guest, Angie Cimbalo too!
Thank you so much for stopping by! π
