Hello and welcome to a new challenge at Seize the Birthday! This time we have a Topping of ‘One Layer’. But you are free to join the challenge with any new Birthday project, if you do not want to choose the Topping.
Here’s the one layer card I made –
I used a combination of flowers from Altenew Layered Lily and Hero Arts Color Layering Hibiscus. I always felt that the images from the two stamp sets would go well together, so I am glad to finally put it on a card! š I used distress inks, misted with water to stamp.
Once dry, I added the sentiment, from Waffle Flower Congrats and Winnie & Walter Sentimental: Birthday. I didn’t think and ended up stamping the smaller sentences on an already black background.. but I let it be. You can partially make out the sentence, plus, I am not actually sending it to anyone!! š

Don’t Altenew make the most incredible floral stamps?!!!! Absolutely love your design and even though its one-layer, it has more dimension and interest than lots of layers. And the colours are spectacular! Always wonderful to see you at TIME OUT!!
