One Layer Simplicity Challenge: Colorful Words

PE: Winner! šŸ™‚

Hello!

When I first saw the One Layer Simplicity Challenge this time, I felt I wouldn’t be able to submit anything – I mean what can you do using only words?! It seemed pretty impossible! However, cards that I saw in Pinterest came to an unexpected rescue. Although the cards I saw were in no way having one layer, they could be adopted into one layer cards. This card is from one such inspiration I found by Ardyth here.

I drew the lines and words for the ‘happy’ myself, and colored it in some bright and contrasting colors using Copic markers. I then stamped the ‘everything’ from Big Bold You from Winnie & Walter using Hero Arts Black ink.

This is such a simple card to make – I believe, if we cannot draw the words, we can still use stencils or die cut negative for the letters, trace them and fill it with color.

Thanks for looking! šŸ™‚
